Nike Air Max 1 – Grey/ Laser Orange

The Summer is almost at a close whether we want to believe, or the weather lets us feel it. Designs more suited to handle Autumn and Winter visual cues are already making their way to our viewpoints. An all too timeless Nike silhouette with a planned drop date some time in October has made its way to the internet.

This Air Max model, set on top of the unaltered structure of the Nike classic gets a visual makeover in preparation for the dreary months ahead. Grey and black dominate the upper overly with black playing the part of the mud guard in what appears to be a winterized material that can adequately handle even the rainiest of days while the grey portion is cloaked in similarly prepped textiles to readily adapt to wetter and colder conditions. Take a look at the inner lining as well. It mildly resembles the inner lining to winter wear, with the cross stitched quilted patterning.

Following the darker palette, the laser orange takes key accent placing on the tongue and heel branding, the upper lace eyelets as well as the forfoot of the outsole and lastly the Air Max unit in the heel section of the midsole. A white midsole adds a counter-color blocking balance to clean up the look.
