**Writer’s Note: The screenshots and instructions were performed using Android version 4.3 “Jellybean”. Other Android versions and their operations may vary.**

Since the recent updates to the Midwest Sole Release Date Calendar, more and more people are supporting the calendar and downloading it to their mobile devices. Since I’m an avid user of Google’s Android platform, I decide to do a quick “How To” for other users of the platform so that they can enjoy some of the same privileges I have when using it. So without further adieu…

Step One:

Visit www.MidwestSole.com.

Step Two:

Select “Menu”. Then “Release Dates”.

Step Three:

On the “Release Dates” page, select “Download Release Date Calendar for Android Devices”.

image

Step Four:

Once the calendar is displayed as shown, scroll to the bottom right hand corner of the page until you see the “+Google Calendar” button then select it.

*Side Note*

If you are not logged into your Chrome browser, you will be asked to do so before the calendar can be added to your calendar.

Once logged in after selecting the “+Google Calendar” button, the calendar will now be associated with your calendar. You can see in the screenshot below that the calendar entry for “DXC Phoenix” is displayed once the calendar was added.

Step Five:

Go into your Apps Menu and select “Settings”.

image

Under “Accounts”, select the Google account associated with the calendar.

Within that account profile, make sure that the “Calendar” option is check marked and selected to “Sync”.

Step Six:

Go back into your Apps Menu and select the Calendar App.

image

Once in the app, select the Menu button and go into Settings and select the account associated with the release date calendar.

image

Under “Calendars To Display”, find the “Midwest Sole” calendar and make sure that its check marked.

Go back to the calendar then press the Menu button again. Select refresh.

That’s it!

If you follow these steps and are able to download the calendar successfully, you will now be able to see calendar events displayed within the application, on the widget, and on the go!

There’s a LOT more that it can do as well. Just get it downloaded and check out any calendar event and you’ll see what I mean.
