Cop or Wait 8/25 – 8/31

Air Foamposite One PRM “Weatherman”

Weatherman_Foam_2048_large

The Foamposite One “Weatherman” is set to release Friday 8/30 for the MSRP of $250. This shoe is labeled as “Premium”, justifying a slighter higher price. It is a widely available general release that will be sold at Nike, RuVilla, City Gear, Footaction, Eastbay, Footlocker and all major retailers.  If you are living in areas like DC, Baltimore and NYC, expect some of your  stores to carry 100+ pairs.  As long as you are able to do your homework before the release, you should be able to get a pair for retail with no problem. Personally, I love the color scheme but I hate the print that’s on the shoe. I recommend if you want this shoe to buy it on release day.  As we learned in recent releases, shoes that come in sets normally sell out. You also have to factor in that some people will be doing back to school shopping this upcoming weekend.  Expect the shoe to cost around $320 – $350 shipped in the aftermarket.

Zoom Revis TXT EXT “Camo”

Nike Zoom Reviz TXT EXT “Camo” releases with the Foamposite “Weatherman” on Friday 8/30 (Retail $140). Unlike the Zoom Revis Demin, this shoe will be more available to the public.  If you have been on #TeamRevis, this shoe is already a most cop this Friday. The Revis is hands down one of the best performance shoes to drop last season. This shoe will be sold at Nike, Champs, Bodega and other shops. I normally get Revis’s shoes for around $39-$59 but this shoe won’t last long enough to hit outlets. So, if you want this shoe, do your homework since this is a quickstrike release. I predict that this shoe will sell in the aftermarket for $200 – $230 shipped.  If you want to see a great preview of this shoe, check out my cousin (Just4Kicks212) video on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPVKEFNh6B8

Air Max Lebron X Low “Raspberry”

This Lebron X low is set to release on Saturday 8/31 at the price of $165. The Lebron X low has been a sleeper as a whole. I’ve seen every Lebron X low sell for under $100. This shoe is extremely comfortable,  just like the Lebron 9 low. Unfortunately, this shoe is overshadowed by the Foams, Revis, Jordan and other QS shoes dropping this weekend. Even though you will get a few people on twitter hyping this shoe up, I predict that this shoe will sit in stores. I would wait this shoe out if I was you and try to catch it for under-retail (magic number $90-$120).

Air Jordan V “Fire Red”

Jordan V fire-red

The lastest Jordan V  drops 8/31 at the retail price of $160.  As with most Jordans, it’s a given that this shoe will sell out.  The shoe will be available at most locations so be prepared to call your local store for ticket times or prepare for a first come, first serve at your local store. The aftermarket for this shoe will range from $215 – $230 shipped. This shoe shouldn’t hit crazy prices at all. I wouldn’t be surprised if this shoe restocks some time late September or early October.

Good luck to everyone this weekend!
