Nike Weatherman Pack: Opposing Elements

The images are there, they’ve been floating around for weeks so have you put the pieces together? Ahh, it finally makes sense now right? Nike has stretched the Weatherman Graphic across multiple silhouettes. Two featured releases are of course on the Air Foamposite One while the remaining Doppler inspired pair sits on an Air Force 1. We even have a name to this storm tracking trio – the “Nike Weatherman Pack: Opposing Elements.” Here they are together to be seen in their intended light and their “giffy” glory.

Together, these Nike originals depict the changing conditions of an incoming storm: progressing from calm to violent as seen in the colors illustrated on the upper graphics. As Nike tells it, these mdoels were chosen due to the way that the Foamposite One and and Air Force 1 “..Took basketball by storm” – revolutionizing the way basketball footwear was thought of and designed. Expect the more mellow Doppler radar tracked pair in blue and white tones to hit Nike Sportswear accounts on August 30th while the more ferocious Thunderstorm illustrated Foamposite One is set to drop on September 28th.
