Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG – “Laney”

Everyone got their start somewhere, that time when they overcame perserverance and obstacles to begin their meteoric rise to stardom. The G.O.A.T himself is one such person. He got his start back in the glory days at Laney High School. The previous retro model with this colorway has already risen to a collector and fan favorite. Take a look at what the design minds at Jordan are bringing us this year, just in time for Christmas.

The Laney High School colorway makes it’s heralded return this year not only on the V Retro silhouette but it seems Jordan Brand may be bringing it back on another retro in “OG” fashion as well. The Air Jordan Retro 1 High OG will be featured amongst the 2013 Holiday Season Retro releases.

The familiar Jordan signature model will release with a white leather underlay. The Varsity Maize feeds into the outsole as well as the leather heel wrap while the Game Royal graces the toebox trim, Nike Swoosh and lace eyelets with a little hinting flourishes near the ankle collar. Following behind on the upper color palette, the standard style laces will also be draped in the Varsity Maize tone.

Stay tuned in to Midwest Sole as we bring you more information to come in regards to release date specifics.
