Packer Shoes x Reebok “Remember The Alamo” Capsule

Packer Shoes have been teasing their collaboration with Reebok on their “Remember the Alamo” Kamikaze II since as far back as may, in fact we’ve previously previewed the project. What we hadn’t seen until this past week was the entire project. Not only have Packer brought us one of the best Reebok collaborations in a year packed full of them, they have also teamed up with Mitchell and Ness to bring us a sick T, snapback and reissue of Shawn Kemp’s jersey from the 1996 all star game played in San Antonio, Texas.

A lot of attention has been focused on the jersey and rightly so, it’s a great collectors item, but lets take it back to the shoes. Kemp wore the Kamikaze II while playing in the ’96 mid season showpiece and the color blocking is drawn from the game’s uniforms. The upper is crafted from cyclone grey premium pigskin leather, steel grey tumbled leather and powder blue nubuck which provides a look that gets gradually darker as you move down the shoe. Hits of orange, pink and teal accent the mid and outsoles forming a striking point of focus, and a 3M coating on the tongue finishes the eye catching remix.

The Packer Shoes x Reebok “Remember the Alamo” Kamikaze II will drop August 2nd both in store and online, with limited quantities of the accessories being made available in store.
