Jeremy Scott x Adidas JS Arrow

When Adidas launched the arrow, a spikeless running shoe, back in 1978 nobody in the German sportswear company could have imagined what an eccentric designer would do with the model over 30 years later.

Jeremy Scott has already taken this classic piece of track equipment and attached a wedge heel to produce a casual women’s shoe, followed by dressing the much loved silhouette in a tuxedo, complete with bow tie.

Revisiting the Arrow after a couple of years, Scott has managed to produce yet another offbeat, hypnotic piece of sneaker art. Taking an original yellow and black colorway and inserting a mind bending optical illusion onto the underlay the JS Arrow is certainly a head turner. Finished with a white midsole atop the traditional Arrow outsole in black, this piece of three stripes history has been updated for the 21st century.

The Adidas Originals JS Arrow has already seen a Japanese release, check back with MidwestSole for updates on a US launch.
