Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Kamikaze II “Polkagris”

Reebok have been releasing high quality collaborations for a while now, and some of the best have come from Swedish retailers Sneakersnstuff. Following up on the Shoe about nothing and Crocus Question mids comes their take on another retro basketball favourite, the Kamikaze II. Named the Polkagris, or candy cane in English, the design is inspired by Swedish entrepreneur Amalia Eriksson, who back in the 1850’s cooked up the mint flavoured candy in an attempt to cure her daughters cold.

The candy cane’s red and white stripes are a natural fit for the color blocking on the Kamikaze II, with the red and white textured leather upper looking simple yet highly effective. The pattern also extends down to the midsole.

Available from Sneakersnstuff on June 26th instore first and later online, you will also be able to grab a pair through Reebok certified network retailers such as Packer Shoes.
