Adidas Unveils “Boost” Energy Running Technology

I like to consider myself a part time runner and I run about 15 miles a week, most of them on a treadmill, so I take my running footwear semi-seriously. Having the right footwear for your running style is key to be able to rack up the miles, just like it is for any physical sport or activity. It is really refreshing that Adidas is innovating in the running realm just like Reebok did with the Zigtech design. A few weeks ago, Adidas unveiled “Boost Technology”, giving runners a more energized running experience without sacrificing comfort. The Boost cushioning is extremely durable and can withstand the elements, with the end result being the runner getting the highest energy return out of competing running shoes in the market today. In the unveil, Adidas stated “These tests revealed that, when taken from +40 to -20 degrees Celsius, BOOST™ foam is three times more temperature-resistant than standard EVA material, providing a more consistent run.”

Boost enabled sneakers are set to go on sale in a few days on February 27th!
