Kobe 8 and Kd V: Finally Unveiled

Today the Kobe 8 and KD V had their first official pictures sent out today. While not many people were very optimistic about either, Nike managed to crush a few doubts with what they showed today.

They showed all the eager sneaker heads the first KD V color way not based on the Thunder. It is called the KD V “DMV” meant to represent the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. It had a Cherry Red upper accented with a Neon Green swoosh and KD symbol on the tongue as well as grey laces sitting atop a red tongue. This all sits atop a grey midsole wrapping around to form a hard plate on the back, similar to the Nike Hyperdunk. There is a small air unit visible and is set off by a green midsole, with speculation it might glow in the dark, but no confirmation from Nike.

The Kobe 8 finally made it’s way to actual pictures coming around, although picture of the Kobe 8 Lifestyle released a while back. Two color ways had pictures release; One was a black/red color way and the other was a yellow/black color way. Both feature a graphic upper, a low-top cut, and the Kobe symbol on the tongue and sole. Instead of the Kobe signature being featured of the middle of heel it is now featured nearer the sole on the right side.ImageImage
